my last wish

after that I will live freely :-)

 

A flexible, sinusoidally vibrating, alto instrument made of wood, that is my last development that I wanted to complete.
So another bass recorder (=real-sounding alto) - so the circle is complete.
And so it's time to look back:

Was the recorder really exciting for me?
Yes, as a teenager it was a tenor and together with sounds from Racheal Cogan i was happy. And otherwise it was just an intensive effort with the instrument but actually mostly without success - the deep inner connection was rarely there!

I just liked to "creat efficiently" and so i made a few world standards. (Bass, great bass, sub-bass, eagle, dynamics).
The bass was my first development - without understanding much - and now I'm developing the same instrument again but a lot more thoughtfully.

The dark side of my work was tragedies with unreflective people and a lot of stupid resentment.

In the summer of 2024, after three years, I finally managed to make a tenor with a narrow fingering using a new compression process of my own. The bass, however, did not want to work and so in 2024 I calculated a very crazy bass"bore" based on this tenor, but I did not have the machines to produce it. That's why I looked for a manufacturer who could take on these experiments. Jo Kunath recognized the potential and in a short time, with him and his people, the tenor became concrete and the feasibility of the bass was proven.

sigo was created and the end of the story is yet to be written :-)
